Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-26 school year is open for children who will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2025. Before an appointment can be scheduled, please go to the Tuscarora School District’s website at www.tsdrockets.org and complete the important student enrollment form for your child. If you cannot access a computer or the internet, please contact the school, and one will be made available to you.

Please upload the required documents to your child’s application before submitting it. If you have any questions about the online enrollment process, please contact Kristal Pence at the Central Office at 717-734-4478. You can call between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
After completing the online enrollment process, someone will contact you to schedule an appointment on one of the following days:

Monday, April 14th Mercersburg
Tuesday, April 15th Saint Thomas

Speech and general kindergarten preparedness screening will occur at registration; please bring your child with you.
The following information is required for registration:
Proof of child’s age – birth certificate, baptismal certificate
Custodial documentation (if applicable)
Immunization Record
Two proofs of residency in the Tuscarora School District
If your child(ren) will be transported from/to child care, please bring the provider's name, address, and contact number. Child care must be within the boundary of your child's school.
Dental and Physical Forms
The following documented immunizations are required for entrance into kindergarten:
4 Diphtheria Tetanus Pertussis (one dose on or after the 4th birthday)
4 Polio (one dose on or after 4th birthday)
2 Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
3 Hepatitis B (properly spaced doses)
2 Varicella (Chicken Pox) – either vaccine or date of disease
